We are following the Government’s Guidelines to ensure the safety of our service users and our staff to limit the spread of infection across our Autonomy Care services.
At this time, we have ensured small bubbles/teams of staff going into our service users homes have set routes in place, to reduce potential spread as much as possible.
We are committed in all aspects of safety for our team and service users, to reassure everyone that we always have full PPE supplies for all our services.
Our early adoption of the vaccine means as a key worker you will have access to an early vaccination, alongside weekly tests, known as PCR testing, whilst working in one of our services.

Key Skills Required
- Demonstrable understanding of the legislative requirements around care of vulnerable people,
- MCA and DOLS understanding of the requirements
- Creating and managing staff rota
- Strong numeracy, literacy and computer skills,
- Broad knowledge of Learning Disabilities and other related conditions
- Full, clean driving licence
- You can demonstrate a positive vision of homecare and how you will influence positive change.
As part of the care coordinator role you will be required to carry out care hours as required to meet the needs of the business.
As Care Coordinator, you will be fundamental in supporting the Manager in the overall running of the day to day operations of the care service. You will prepare and distribute rota's ensuring that staff cover is in place to meet service user needs, carry out risk assessments, create and maintain care plans, attend service user reviews and carry out staff supervisions.
You will be committed to promoting a person centred approach that ensures the standard of care provided helps the people we support achieve the best possible outcomes for them within their own homes and the community.
The successful candidate will be an effective role model, with a consistent person centred approach, a self-starter with strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You will be able to prioritise your workload in accordance with the needs of the service and service users.
