I love working for Autonomy Care because it is a fun company to work for. Also, I can change peoples lives for the better. Autonomy Care staff and clients are lovely.
The support from [registered manager] and [care coordinator] has been amazing if you have a query you can ring them at any time. They're both very approachable.
There are enough staff, I never feel rushed, they [registered manager and care coordinator] make sure people have the time they need.
Staff spoke about people's care and their work for the provider with clear enthusiasm, referring to the strong sense of teamwork. They felt well-supported and valued by an approachable and hands-on registered manager and care coordinator who listened to their views. One staff member told us, “there should be more companies like Autonomy. I love working there.”

I enjoy working for The Oaks because we are like a family. The service users and staff care about each other. This is making an enjoyable working environment.
I have worked at The Oaks for four years now, and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else! It is my first job in the care industry and I have been given so many opportunities to learn and improve on my personal development. I have completed many different training courses including my NVQ Level 3 whilst here. The support from our home manager Adina is amazing, she is always there for you and goes the extra mile to ensure you are getting the support you need. Working at The Oaks is like being part of one big family and everyone has such great bonds with both staff and service users.
I find it fulfilling to know I’m helping make someone life little better and a bit brighter. I have built strong bonds with both- staff and service users, we are like a big family.
Working to the Oaks for the last 15 years was a pleasure. It’s been like an extended family. Always working so person centre with all the service users past and present. Opportunity to progress have alway been supported by management. Looking forward to the next 15 years.
