  • Working towards QCF Level 3 £10.60 per hour
  • QCF Level 3, less than 2 years experience £10.80 per hour
  • QCF Level 3, 2 years experience £11.20 per hour
  • QCF Level 3, 2 years experience and specialist training £11.50 per hour
  • Bank Holiday £15.80 - £17.25 per hour

Please note - All employee's are required to attain Level 3 Diploma for Residential Care within 2 years of their start date. This can be completed as an apprenticeship which can be funded by us through our Autonomy Academy.

Job description

  • Day shifts term time weekdays 7am - 11am
  • Afternoon shifts term time weekdays 2.00pm - 9.30pm
  • Day shifts school holidays and weekends 7am - 2.00pm
  • Afternoon shifts school holidays and weekends 2.00 pm - 9.30pm
  • Socialising with our young people and creating fun and engaging activities and home events
  • Cooking and support in the kitchen during meal times
  • Assisting with fantastic days out with our young people
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Complete relevant documentation

COVID-19 Precautions

We are committed in all aspects of safety for our team and service users, to reassure everyone that we always have full PPE supplies.

We don’t do weekly PCR tests anymore, but our staff do a lateral flow test before their shift and record on the NHS app.

About you

You will

  • Have experience working with children and young people or adults with complex needs and behaviours that challenge
  • Hold a valid driving licence with access to a vehicle
  • Be caring and respectful enabling the people we support to have a high quality of life and make their own decisions
  • Be flexible, adaptable and willing to go the extra mile if it means making a positive difference to someone's life
  • Be enthusiastic with excellent communicational skills, committed to developing positive working relationships
