Immediate flexible contracts available at Autonomy Care

  • Full time and Part Time contracts available with guaranteed hours
  • Working alternate weekends essential
  • £10.60 - £17.55 per hour
  • Monday to Friday £10.60 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday £11.70 per hour
  • Bank Holiday £15.90 - £17.55 per hour
  • Business mileage paid : 30p for motorbikes, 35p for cars
  • Holiday top-up payments made for regular over time (T&C's)
  • Domiciliary care position (18+ applicants only)

Our rates

(Rate 1) Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 10.00pm £10.60 an hour

(Rate 2) Saturday and Sunday - 7:00am to 10.00pm £11.70 an hour

The role

Due to the nature of this role holding a valid driving licence with access to transport is essential.

We have an Autonomy Care office located in Amesbury covering Salisbury and the surrounding areas. You will need to travel to each service user during your shift and business mileage will be paid.

Your role will vary from supporting adults and young people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, dementia and other mental health conditions, to providing domiciliary care. You will be making a difference to peoples lives, allowing them to remain independent at home.

A day in the life of a support worker

  • Morning - Afternoon shifts 7.00am – 2.30pm
  • Evening shifts 4pm – 10pm
  • Flexible hours around your availability
  • Shifts between 7am and 10pm
  • Everyday tasks such as shopping, sitting services and light housework to encourage self-help skills
  • Creating fun and engaging activities
  • Assisting with cooking and support in the kitchen
  • Assisting with fantastic days out with our service users
  • Assisting with personal care with our service users
  • Completing relevant documentation
