Make a Real Difference Every Day
At Autonomy Care, we’re committed to supporting adults to live happy, safe, and fulfilling lives in their own homes and communities. Whether it’s providing companionship, practical support, or personal care, our team helps individuals maintain their independence and dignity — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are actively recruiting to expand our team; therefore, while your primary role is within this service, you may be required to work across other Autonomy Care Group services in Wiltshire, supporting adults or children and young people with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours that may challenge.
This role combines both domiciliary care and supported living across a range of locations. If you're passionate about person-centred care, love variety in your day, and want to work in a supportive team — we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do as a Support Worker

- Supporting with daily tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, light housework, and medication reminders
- Providing companionship to promote emotional wellbeing
- Assisting in the kitchen and encouraging involvement in meal planning and preparation
- Planning and participating in fun activities at home and in the community
- Accompanying individuals on day trips and outings
- Supporting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
- Completing accurate documentation and care records
