For those that attended our stall at this years Melksham Food and River Festival, will have seen our donation tins for Sepsis Awareness.
Autonomy Care Melksham held a small event in their office on 13th September too for World Sepsis Day and we now have a total amount raised!
Thank you to everyone who popped their spare change into the tins provided. We are thrilled to announce we have a total of £100 from your generous donations towards The UK Sepsis Trust, to help improve diagnosis and treatment for sepsis patients in the future.
We have had so much support from staff, service users and the community - who have all come together to raise awareness for such an important cause.
We had a nice visit from Chris at Blenheim House Care Home, who came to show his support too!
Guess the teddy’s name and how many sweets in the jar will announced soon! Keep your eyes peeled 🐻 🍬

We had a blast!

What a fantastic weekend of fun at this years Melksham Food and River Festival! Our Melksham service had a lovely time meeting lots of great people from the local community that came over to ask about our service and stall. Big shout out to Woody too 🐾 who attended the weekend with his staff badge!
Our service users and staff who attended the festival this weekend to support us - THANK YOU! ⭐️
We would also like to thank everyone who supported our cause also, for Sepsis Awareness. All donations received so far will be added to our next Sepsis Awareness event to create a total amount raised.
We are also holding a small event on Tuesday 13th September at our office on the high street from 10am. If you have some loose change, come on over to play our guess the teddy’s name and how many sweets in the jar game! 🍭 🍬

We are proud to support those who serve

What is the Armed Forces Covenant?

We, Autonomy Care Group, pledged our support by signing up for the Defence Relationship Management, Employer Recognition Scheme. This is a scheme which encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same.

To those who proudly protect our nation, who do so with honour, courage, and commitment, the Armed Forces Covenant is the nation’s commitment to you.

It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.

Namaste from Autonomy Care Group, as their Marketing Coordinator Jen returns from Everest!
“It’s hard for me to articulate where I’ve been this last month. It all started with a leap of faith to board the notoriously dangerous mountain plane to Lukla, Nepal. From there the trek commenced and I was in awe of the blue pine forests, blinded by countless dust paths, tackled snow blizzards – alongside conquering my fear of heights on suspension bridges. With all the challenges of the trek, comes the highest reward!"
Jen proudly waved Autonomy Care Group’s flag at Everest Base Camp on 1st May!
"There’s a reason the words ‘Base Camp’ mean so much, and if it was easy everyone would do it. It’s true that the people make an experience, rather than what you set out to see in the first place. I was blessed with my team of 11 others and of course the tour guides; all strangers to begin with and now friends for life. We pushed each another when needed and we all made sure everyone made it to Base Camp safely. I feel truly humbled to have gone over our original target of £3K for Stepping Stones charity, and I would love to see how far we can go now I’m home and achieved what we set out to do!”
“On the harder days ascending after hours of trekking, I just had the charity at the forefront of my mind to help me reach the next checkpoint. It was the most amazing experience and the biggest achievement of my life so far."

Thank you from everyone at Autonomy Care Group for their continued support.
