Autonomy Care supports you in the community and in your own home regardless of your level of support needs.

The support we offer ranges from the very demanding, which may include complex learning or physical disabilities, mental health, palliative care or a hospital discharge, to assisting with essential daily life skills such as shopping. Our clients are all ages, from children to senior citizens, and our support is available around the clock with an out-of-hours on call system in place.

Our specialist team are experts in person-centred assistance and staff undertake accredited Positive Behaviour Support training. Few care providers offer this. In our view it is essential for complex needs and transforms the quality of care across the board.

Individualised support

We work with our clients to establish not only their needs but also their desires and aspirations, and our support is precisely tailored to achieve both. We work with individuals, and those significant in their lives, to set - and achieve - short, medium, and long term goals.

These may change over time, so support plans are regularly reviewed and updated. This holistic approach is very person-centred and promotes positive outcomes and development of skills for life and leisure.

“Thank you to everyone on the team for everything during his recent illness. We feel confident that should it happen again he is in the best possible hands. Everyone went above and beyond and we couldn’t have asked for more.”

    Meet the Manager: Zoe Miller-Manning

Zoe’s Care career started 11 years ago with elderly community care. Zoe then moved on to a residential care home specialising in Dementia as a Care Assistant. Within her 5 years there, she progressed to a Senior Trainer completing her NVQ Level 3 and Specialist Dementia Training Service. Within Zoe’s career she has been a Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant, Support Worker, Home Trainer, Care Leader, Medication Lead and Trouble-shooter. She took on a new role as a Healthcare Recruitment Consultant but realised her passion was in care and needed to have a more hands on role, which is why she joined Autonomy Care.

Zoe started with Autonomy Care in Melksham as a Care Coordinator but very quickly stepped up to an Assistant Manager level, before progressing to the role of Registered Manager.

Zoe is very passionate about ensuring each Support Worker works to their full potential and always bettering themselves by learning new skills and gaining new qualifications.
