Shifts

  • Working alternate weekends is essential

Training and Development

  • Funded apprenticeships and diplomas
  • Accredited Positive Behaviour Management Training

Key Skills Required

  • NVQ/QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Demonstrable understanding of the legislative requirements around care of vulnerable people,
  • MCA and DOLS understanding of the requirements
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and computer skills,
  • Broad knowledge of Learning Disabilities and other related conditions
  • Participating in on call essential

Job description

  • Coaching and mentoring teams to deliver excellent quality services and care
  • Carry out regular Supervisions for Support Workers
  • Assist with covering absence and sickness of the staff team
  • Medication audits, spot checks quality review and supervising staff team to dispense medication to the people we support.
  • Quality control audits.
  • Maintaining individuals care records.
  • Completing both medical and general competency checks
  • Participate in monthly team meetings
  • Participate in monthly team leader meetings with the management team
  • Induction of new team members
  • On call duties and to take part in the on-call rota

Our rates

(Rate 1) Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 8.00pm £11.95 an hour

(Rate 2) Monday to Friday - 8.00pm to 10.00pm £13 an hour

(Rate 2) Saturday and Sunday - 7.00am to 8.00pm £13 an hour

(Rate 3) Saturday and Sunday - 8.00pm to 10.00pm £13.94 an hour

  • Paid business mileage (Cars 45p per mile)
  • Bank Holidays paid time and a half
  • Holiday Top - up payments made for regular overtime (T's & C's)
