Are you an experienced and values-led leader ready to shape the future of children’s residential care? We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead either an established children’s home or a new provision that is in the early stages of being set up.

Our established service, Haresfield, is a vibrant home dedicated to supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and behaviours that may challenge. It offers more than just a place to live – it’s a place where they can truly flourish. Our team creates a safe, nurturing and empowering environment where they are all encouraged to discover their strengths, develop new skills and build confidence for the future.

Our new home will also be located near Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Whether stepping into a well-established service or shaping a brand-new home from the ground up, this is a unique opportunity to join a growing organisation committed to providing safe, stable and nurturing environments for children and young people.

What we offer:

  • Relocation package up to £8,000 available for the right candidate.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including:
    • Private Medical Insurance
    • Group Life Assurance
    • Group Income Protection
  • 30 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Structured support and mentoring to register and grow with the home
  • Professional development pathways, including trauma-informed care, coaching and leadership training
  • A workplace culture grounded in empathy, trust and integrity

What you’ll bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Registration experience with Ofsted as a children’s home manager
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding, therapeutic practice, and outstanding person centred care
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted’s Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF)
  • Understanding of trauma, attachment and child development
  • Commercial awareness with financial acumen with an understanding and experience of managing budgets
  • The resilience, warmth and a leadership style that inspires, empowers and role-models best practice

We’re building homes — and teams — where everyone can thrive. If you’re passionate about transforming children’s lives through care, stability and positive relationships, we’d love to hear from you.
