THE ORCHARD

Wiltshire

Untitled design (17)

The Orchard is a bespoke purpose designed bungalow which is situated in the picturesque village of Hawkeridge on the outskirts of Westbury. The property is set on the edge of the village accessed by a quiet lane.

There are front and rear enclosed gardens to enjoy at the property; the rear benefitting from being an all-weather surface.

We believe that anyone living at The Orchard should have the same care and opportunities that they would have in their own home; thats why we recognise, respect and support individuality, encouraging people to take as much control over their own lives as they can; whilst offering care support and guidance to them.

Our team

The Orchard benefits from a specialist staff team that are experts in supporting young people with complex needs in a holistic person centred way.
Our range of services and strategies can support individuals to manage their complex behaviours effectively using positive behaviour support.

All staff working at the service undertake accredited Positive Behaviour Support and Positive Behaviour Management Pro Training.

Individualised support

Support at The Orchard is tailored to meet the needs and wishes of the young person using a holistic person centred, multidisciplinary approach; working to achieve outcomes that are important both; to and for the person.

We work with the young person; and those significant in their lives to set and achieve short, medium and long term goals. As these change over time we review and update our support plans regularly as the young person grows and develops.

"Recently relocated from Cornwall to come and work for Autonomy Plus, currently a Senior working at The Orchard. This is a lovely home environment to be working in, coming from the initial stages of this being a new bespoke service and setting this up is exciting to see how fast the young service user has progressed and the potential for the future."

"Taking part in changing lives and outcomes for young people is something I enjoy, actually being here from the start is even more exciting. Everyone has been really welcoming and the atmosphere is very friendly. The home is situated in a quiet little village which is great and the home has a calming feel about it and I am excited to be here."
